IMSES specializes in design & construction of concrete road as per Indian Road Congress. The cement concrete slabs – Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) is Fiber reinforced concrete pavement, also known as FRC pavement, is a type of concrete pavement that includes macro and micro fibers as a reinforcement material. The concrete mix is based on High Performance Concrete using our innovative admixture CC100.
The PQC layer will have the following features:
Increased durability: The fibers in the concrete help to distribute stresses more evenly, reducing the likelihood of cracking and other forms of damage.
Improved load-bearing capacity: FRC pavement can support heavier loads than traditional concrete pavement, making it suitable for high-traffic areas.
Better resistance to weathering: FRC pavement is more resistant to damage from environmental factors like freeze-thaw cycles, high temperatures, and moisture.
Lower maintenance costs: Because FRC pavement is more durable than traditional concrete pavement, it typically requires less maintenance over time.
Overall, fiber reinforced concrete pavement is a strong, durable, and cost-effective option for road construction and can provide a long-lasting and reliable pavement surface.
